The Past Few Days (aka Ice Cream Maker Adventures)
Since I got an ice cream maker for Mother’s Day, we’ve been doing a whole lot of this:

The ice cream maker has been in almost constant use, actually:
So tonight the boys had lots of energy to do this:
We were all so grateful to get out on a sunny evening, after both sessions of soccer were cancelled last week due weather like this:
Expect lots of ice cream recipes over the next little while as I customize and perfect some flavours. The boys sure are enjoying helping me. Gotta love these “math” and “science” lessons of homeschool, eh?

Very sweet, and I’m not talking about the ice cream. I’ve just started making home made ice cream with a White Mountain hand crank machine and the kids think it’s awesome.
If you don’t make your own ice cream you should give it a try. Here’s an interesting article I found that might be helpful to folks thinking about making their own.
